Just as the Title Implies: This Movie Dragged Me to Hell

I've consciously been avoiding watching Drag Me to Hell, for 3 reasons:

1. It looked stupid
2. I am NEVER afraid of scary movies
3. I always end up kicking myself for believing someone else.

But alas, I did it anyway because too many people had an opinion on it. Grandpa Joe said it scared him out of the theater, and he LOVES a good scare. He has since been fired from the committee of movie suggesters I once went to. Another reason I wanted to watch it is because I wanted to give Ms. Alison Lohman a chance to prove herself worthy of an adult role. She has mentioned in interviews that roles are difficult to come by for someone who looks so young--limiting her acting career. I mean, I liked her in Matchstick Men, and maybe in White Oleander (which sucked as a movie, but was a great read), but this one just made me want to repeatedly watch her in the painstaking Flicka.

The positives of watching this were:

1. It didn't have a sappy happy ending (at least you get the satisfaction of seeing someone else besides yourself suffer).
2. You may not be scared, but you will laugh a lot because its so stupid.
3. You'll never wanna piss off any ugly old ladies again because a part of you thinks what if that really could happen.

I'd go to hell and back again before I see this again.
